Celebrations were in order last week at the launch of the Decléor's new and first UK boutique and day spa, in Westbourne Grove!

If you're not familiar with Decléor, they are a brand with more than 40 years under their belt, and are known for their unique holistic approach to skincare.

...Decléor scientifically selects and masterfully blends premium Essential Oils to deliver for each skin type, targeted and proven skincare solutions...blending 100% natural essential oils and cold pressed botanical oils.
(Ugh! You gotta love natural skincare).

Their new home is located in the heart of Notting Hill and I was pleased to be invited to their cosy little haven in the heart of ultra chic West London. First impressions of Decléor's new establishment blew me away. With an all round ethereal look, light yellow and smatterings of flowers and vibrant greens, the decor was breathtaking. Even though, the usual British gloom hung over the city and everybody around, inside, it could easily have been in the thick of summer because of the light and airy ambience. I just loved it!

The day spa has three treatment rooms, certainly the go-to for receiving amazing body and face pampering.

In keeping with Decleor's ethos of being au naturale, delicious raw vegan canapés and kale cocktails worked up a treat through out the evening.

Never one to skimp on luxury, we were treated to our very own bespoke miniatures of their signature products. As a stickler for the details, I particularly loved being gifted a personalised bottle of one of their famous essential oil blends.

As you already know, I've been delving more into natural skincare so learning about Decléor has been an eye-opener. I can't wait to try all of my shiny new products.

Have you tried any of their products? And if so, what do you think of them?
[Feel free to leave comments below]

I'll be reviewing their products in the coming weeks, but for more information, please head to their website.

Something I don't normally share on here (maybe I should start?) is fitness!
 I enjoy staying active, I work out three times a week and eat right. But it hasn't always been like this. From being that sports girl in secondary school, joining after school activities. I remember loosing motivation when I started college. I then decided to get right back into the habit of being active again by signing up to a local gym. Since then, I have worked on being the best version of myself and it's totally worth it.

My invitation to the Kimberly Wyatt for Zakti Activewear launch party, couldn't have come at a better time. I'm always on the lookout for some new, cool gym wear and becoming more acquainted with other brands.

If you are not familiar with Kimberly Wyatt, she is a dancer and choreographer, best known for being a member of the popular girl group Pussycat Dolls.

This is all in celebration of her new collaboration with Zakti Activewear. A range developed for women and girls to encourage and empower them to
'Be You, Be Fearless, Be Authentic!'

I'm more of a black on black gym wearer, I tend to stay away from colours, but the marble print set was a stand out favourite of mine out of the range!

On the whole, the event was an enjoyable evening. Zakti Acitvewear have such gorgeous, quality pieces and I am officially a fan!

I get to pretend to be a model every now and then...and this dress certainly brought it out of me. Hehe!

 There is nothing that I love than wearing a free, flirty outfit on a spring/summers day.
Plus, with how warm it was recently, I used the opportunity to take some outfits shots in the perfect street of Regents Park. The sun was just about setting and Zipporah (dope photographer and she happens to be my bestie), managed to capture a hazy, ethereal feel to these shots.

I bought this beautiful wrap dress on the Topshop website, on sale! I fell in love with the gorgeous floral print and the colour, a soft shade of pink-y peach, is very reminiscent of a kimono style.
I tied the featured belt to snatch in the waist and paired it with subtle, nude court heels to complete the look! For more of an edge, you can pair with ankle boots or better yet skinny jeans.

So whose slaying with me?
Hope you enjoyed this post!

Howdy y'all!
 Now that the weather is getting warmer, these are the skincare products I use to see me through the spring/summer season. I'm an avid fan of Clarins, (am sure you probably know this already) and I can't stress enough how important skincare is and why you should always care for your skin, no matter what. I mean, this is the skin you will have for the rest of your lives, so treat it like it's your temple! (right, enough being preachy).
These range of products that I'm introducing to you, are amazing, inexpensive and light weight for the skin. Just what you need for this weather to perfect that base of yours.

Beauty: Spring Skincare

Here are the original sizes for the Clarins products shown above, as some of the products on my flatlay are smaller versions.
*from left to right* Daily Energiser Cleansing Gel, {Link}
Before I apply this, I wet my face and use the cleansing gel onto my skin. This cleanses my skin thoroughly and you can tell it how clean it makes your skin look and feel. Washes off makeup instantly.

Hand and Nail Treatment Cream, {Link}
Your hands always need attention and care and this bad boy keeps my hands so soft, hydrated and what's even better? Not even a sticky feeling. My nails can sometimes become dry and brittle and this product helps keep my nails going from strength to strength in the time of need. With ingredients like Aloe Vera and Shea, you know this smells divine!

Pure Melt Cleansing Gel, {Link}
I mentioned in the beginning about wetting my face before applying the Daily Energiser Cleansing Gel. Well, this is the other way round. You apply this product to your damp skin first, massage the gel all over your face, avoiding the eye area. The gel transforms into an oil consistency (that's the Marula oil) and picks up every bit of dirt off the skin. Water activates the gel into a silky milk that cleans your skin. I look so radiant after doing this, its insane!

Multi-Active Day, {Link}
A must have in my opinion, this is a new addition to my skincare collection and I must say this leaves my skin feeling so moisturised and plump. Not to mention, the sweet smell of this lotion lingers and I just love it.

Beauty Flash Balm, {Link}
The product that keeps on giving! This has to be the longest Clarins product I have owned and I swear by this. This gives you that instant, youthful glow. I apply this after my daily moisturiser for a skin pick-me-up. I've had my tired days and this will make you look how coffee makes you feel. Alive, rested and ready to go.

Daily Energiser Wake-up Booster, {Link}
I highly recommend this! This toner is a life saver for mornings when you feel your skin is looking so dull and not at its best. I pop the booster onto a cotton pad and gently apply all over my face. Its toning benefits helps boost my complexion, leaving my skin lustrous.

What skincare products do you use in spring/summer?
I hope you found this post helpful!

When it's a beautiful day in England and the chances are we may not experience this for a while...It calls for a photoshoot in the sunshine!

This season is all about taking on a distinctive trend. I have seen the comeback of frills, twisted, ruffled and knotted garments and I think it's such an easy way to look like you're making a fashion statement, without being too overdone. I had to share this look for you guys just because I love an outfit that boasts standout details as well as keeping it classique.

I simply styled this outfit with a structured white crop top that has a curved hem at the bottom. I felt this would work perfectly with ruffled culottes to show off the details of the trousers and give the overall outfit a perfect contrast! I teamed it with a black envelope clutch bag and staple black court heels.
This look can easily take you from day to night.

I can't wait to show you more outfit posts now that spring has arrived.

I am all for healthy, dewy, glowing skin and right now I am currently OBSESSED with the new

It gives you a beautiful glow that looks more natural and carefree than any other highlighter I have come across. With no heavy shimmer, the balm application has a unique formulation that smoothly glides on to the skin and dries (no sticking feeling), almost melting on to the skin's surface for a subtle, radiant finished look.

The round tip of the Dewy Stix is your best friend here. I say this because it makes your makeup application so much easier, with just a simple glide on the areas you want the light to hit, it beats you getting a makeup brush for you to apply with. I have my days (or nearly everyday in fact) when I want a 'no makeup' makeup look with a glow (can you tell I love to glow already 😆). This product is perfect for a 'less done' appearance. One thing I noticed when I was out and about was it lasted throughout the day, making reapplication unneeded.

Now, if you love your highlight to be very disrespectful and when I mean disrespectful, I mean BEAMING and you're not a fan of the whole subtle, natural look. I would suggest you apply the Dewy Stix first and then your chosen highlight on top for a more exaggerated glow.

As seen above, I applied the Dewy Stix to the bridge down to the tip of my nose and cheekbones
For my darker complexion ladies, this is amazing on any skin tone and you can totally rock it because of its unique balm formula, it pops and it's bound to get noticed!

This has become my default highlighter for everyday!

You can find the Ciate Dewy Stix (£22) from the Ciate website.

Are you into highlighting? Tell me what you think of this product?
