Summer is the season where one doesn't need to be doing too much to their skin. Using lighter products, nothing too thick (apart from your SPF)! You want to enhance your natural beauty, wear minimal makeup and let your radiance shine through.

Here, Pixi Beauty have me doing just that, with their selection of skincare and makeup picks. If you're not familiar with Pixi, they are a brand with more than 10 years under their belt, and are known for their pure awakening and skin loving products, that create a naturally glowing look.

Pixi's mission: provide real women with real beauty in a real world...for busy women who simply want to look and feel their most beautiful.

If you are new to Pixi Beauty and you're thinking about buying their products. Read no further, as I share individual reviews, swatches and makeup looks on their impressive range!

The Flawless Beauty Primer is an amazing base you apply on your face and neck before your foundation or better yet, to wear on it's own! I doubt I could love this product any less: it's hydrating, gives my skin a natural, subtle glow and keeps my makeup lasting longer. Not to mention, anti-ageing ingredients for keeping your skin youthful! As seen above, I use a coin size amount, just like you are applying a moisturiser and then smooth all over my face for added glint! What's not to love?

Before I knew about Pixi Beauty, I already read tons of praises about the Glow Tonic and I see why it's so hyped. My skin has never looked so vibrant after using this toner. It does an amazing job at exfoliating and purifying the skin and not to mention, the Aloe Vera scent that lingers on you smells divine. Other toners simply no longer cut it for me, unless you have Glycolic Acid in it, like this product. Sounds scary knowing acid is in a product (you won't get burnt), but it's good! Glycolic acid helps buff away the top layer of dull skin and reveal a glowing appearance.
I call this 'skin saviour in a bottle'. I highly recommend!

Nothing says summer skincare like using a Rose Oil Blend to help treat the skin for a moisturised, glow. I happen to love the smell of roses, (some may beg to differ) *cue song* Outkast - Roses.
However, this smells like real blossomed ones, along with ingredients of sweet almond, rosehip, jojoba and pomegranate seed. All great for preserving your skin's elasticity. I use this AM to PM, adding 2 drops of the rose oil into my favourite moisturiser or alone and massage into my skin. This feels wonderfully relaxing and my skin thanks me! My skin is left soft and I look and feel like revived.
 It's heaven in a bottle!

I was delighted to have received the award winning Endless Silky Eye Pen in Black Noir. This gel eye pencil has to be the best I've tried in all eye pencil history! I'm not a fan when it comes to lining the eyes. I find the tip on most eye pencils would tug on to my eye area, causing me to become a teary, big ol', smudgy, racoon mess. Because of that, I would leave it out as part of my makeup routine. So when I received this, I thought why not give it a try and see how it goes.

Now I know why this is a hero product, the pencil gives a smooth application.
As seen above, I created a subtle smoky eye look for definition and also applied the eye liner on my water line make my eyes pop! The black colour is very pigmented and bearing in mind, I was at an event all day and reapplying was not needed. This is also perfect for an evening look.
I absolutely love it!

Call us the Kylie Jenner generation, because plumped lips is that beauty craze. Most beauty brands have jumped on the bandwagon with creating lip products to give your pout an extra lift. If you're not going down the surgeons route, then the LipLift Max is a must try. This lip formula contains peptides to help hydrate and firm the lips. Aloe, jojoba and chamomile are some of the key ingredients in this product that sets this lip gloss apart from other brands i've used in the past. Superb, to use if you suffer from dry lips. I particularly love the cooling effect this gloss gives once applied, and the oozing smell of fresh mint. Their lip glosses come in three different shades and below, I am using the shade Petal Ice. A clear-like gloss that's great for wearing alone or like me, wear on top of a colour. I honestly don't think this product did any sort of plumping for me. I will say, it's great for moisture on the lips.

Pixi Beauty have been my standout summer products as of late!

Have you tried any products from Pixi? And if so, what do you think of them?
