Hey guys, I went to ZENii skincare breakfast launch a few months back.
I get asked (almost daily) about what I use on my skin and recently, I've been switching up my skincare routine, from ingredients you can find in your kitchen, to delving
into natural brands. In the past, I was as stubborn as a
bull, when it comes to changing my skincare regime. So, when I was invited to
attend the launch of ZENii, I did my research and from there, I knew I had to be involved.

Designed to combat the big issues of modern living such as anti-ageing,
pollution free radicals & stress.
To summarise, ZENii has been formulated to help reduce and
limit the impact that air pollution has on our skin. The founder Dr Johanna
Ward, noticed everyday living is ageing our skin in an accelerated fashion, from
studies shown comparing urban city skin to people living in rural environments. The results are damaging! I know working in the city, I am more exposed to
toxins and pollution and it really shows at the end of the day when I wash my
face. All the muck from being in that environment shows in the sink, so you can
just about imagine the invisible chemicals in the atmosphere we don't really
see piled onto our skin.
Clearly, Dr Johanna has thought this through in terms of what she wants
for her range and I was delighted to be given some ZENii products to
try devotedly for some months and share my experience.
This toner picks up every bit of excess debris left on my skin, after cleansing, which is what I love the most about this product. It just gives my skin that extra clean feeling! Also, you can smell the amazing ingredients of cucumber, orange and chamomile infused into this product, which helps neutralise the skin’s PH and damaging free radicals. I learnt from ZENii that free radicals are harmful electrons in the skin that quicken the ageing process and damage skin cells. So, don’t listen to anyone who says it’s too early to start combating skin-ageing, ey? Do it now!

I've been on the quest to find a really good serum that’s non-sticky and doesn’t just sit on the skin. We need it to actually work, right?! Well, this serum is definitely not that. My skin drinks this up and certainly works in helping to shield against all pollution, toxins etc. The glow I get from this is amazing. The only thing I don’t like is the scent. I really wanted to like it and get used it, but I couldn’t. So, I’ve recently started to add drops of the serum into my moisturiser, just to hide the aroma. Other than that, this is a really effective product in protecting my skin against anti-ageing at all costs. My mum has taken a liking to this also and she adores this.
I look forward to my night time routine just to slather this on. For me, this is a really rich night cream and I could instantly tell,
because of it’s luxurious texture when applied on to my face. It deeply nourishes
into my skin and I know it's working because come morning, my skin is supple,
healthy-looking and rejuvenated. I can’t stop touching my face after using this. The micronutrient night cream is packed with all goodness of ingredients like your aloe vera, jojoba oil, collagen,
and Vitamin E just to name a few. I call this ‘miracle in a tub’.

Verdict:
Lets just say, I’m a fan of ZENii!
I had a small (eczema-like) patch of rough skin on my face that came out of nowhere and after a week of faithfully using ZENii, the patch disappeared. It goes to show how profound their brand is. I received lots of admiration for my glowing skin and I’m glad I took my time to get a real feel of how they individually worked for me. I have to admit, I enjoyed learning the science of skin health through them and how important it is to nourish the skin from within. Skincare is self-care and I truly stand by this. As we get older, the importance of having a good skincare regime should become a priority for us, or maybe that's just me? Anyhow, expect more posts about this brand in the future.
