Last Saturday got me into festival mode, when I attended the biggest weekend party in Bangkok, called Kolour in the Park!

The name is pretty self explanatory, with it’s designed theme of bright colours, spread throughout the whole park. It’s an instant spirt lifter, I must say.

I’ve been to a couple festivals back home and I can’t say activities such as lake swimming, massages and a variety of mouth-watering gourmet food come to mind when I attend festivals. So, I was very surprised at the amount of cool activities you can actually do there, (that’s if you ever get bored of standing around).   

I particularly loved the open-air setting of the venue and the unforgettable, beautiful view overlooking the lake, great to sit and enjoy especially during sunset

Of course the biggest highlight of the night was when the hottest DJ’s of Bangkok descended onto the stage, blasting sounds of house, techno, electronica and disco. (Disco was my favourite part). Zipporah and I, boogied till the wee hours of the morning and since we couldn't get enough, we had to hit up an afterparty. Let's just say my legs were like jelly by the end of it all.

Overall, I had a great time and hopefully I can make the next one!!!
