FESTIVAL READY

In my last post, I mentioned to you guys that I attended the coolest festival ever, Kolour in the Park. Since we are now approaching festival season, I thought I share with you guys how I got myself festival ready for this event. From my beauty products to my OOTD – This will hopefully give you some tips and inspiration on how I achieved thy look!

Products used:

I am a fan of a natural dewy, glowing complexion and these products certainly gave me that.

Biore UV Perfect Face Milk SPF 50+ PA+++

I have to mention the newest addition to my makeup collection and the ultimate staple for me. The Nu Colour Curling Mascara Black

Being at a festival in scorching, 40 degrees heat, I was a little hesitant on packing on the mascara as I didn't want to worry about smudging. Since it was new, I decided to wear it anyway and see how it goes.

What impressed me about this mascara was the fact it made my eyelashes so elongated.
All down to the simply, curved, brush on the wand. My eyelashes were coated nicely and evenly with no clumping at all. To my surprise, through the sweating and wild dancing, this did not budge. Yep, no case of the embarrassing black streak down your face.

Not only that, I got complimented on wearing lash inserts. Only for people to find out, they were my real lashes and it's just a really good mascara!

If that doesn't seal the deal on this, I don't know what will.

I wore this floral number from Topshop, which I purchased on the boxing day sale last year. This dress just gives me festival vibe with the colour and print. You've got to love the cross detail in the front as well. A trend that I have warmed to recently and I am digging it.

Paired with my ASOS black gladiator sandals, that I also got in the sale. This was super comfy to be in for when you are standing for a long period. To complete my festival look, I wore this flower headband that I bought in Thailand.

After the party, there's the after party.

I can never turn down a good leg shake. After winding down in Kolour, there was an afterparty to keep us going.

I wanted an evening look without the effort of redoing my whole makeup to suit the night. So, I decided to step it up a notch by adding on some Glitter Lips.

This is a fabulous product (and a great conversation starter, might I add) for those who want to experiment and try something different on their lips. I can't fault this! It does exactly what it says on the box. A simple application that lasts up to 8 hours. This felt so lightweight, half of the time, I forgot I had it on.

When you are through with being a sparkle diva, you can simply remove it by using an oil based makeup remover.

I don't have any pictures of me wearing it at the party since there was a no camera policy.
But you can check out below on how it looked on me.

I am wearing the shade Vintage Pretty

Definitely, give this a go for the festival!

Are you going to any festivals this year?
Do let me know?
