JAEGER X SUNDAY TIMES STYLE FASHION WEEK WRAP UP EVENT

I was very lucky enough to have been invited to the Jaeger fashion week wrap up event with The Sunday Times Style this week. The event was an insight into Jaeger's Autumn Winter collection including a panel of fashionista's discussing this season's upcoming trends.

It was held at the their stunning flagship store in Regent Street. The store itself is beautifully laid out with simple décor.

The Lowdown: Jaeger is a world-class, contemporary British fashion and lifestyle brand with a rich history and dynamic future built on womenswear, menswear and accessories.

I've always been a lover of the Jaeger brand. Their very distinctive, impressionable design of using quality fabrics make you appreciate their vision and what they are about.

Before the event started, I got to have a little look around at the collection and I fell in love with almost everything. Touching the wool coats and the knitwear were the softest feeling wool I have ever felt! The collection displayed a lot of neutral, earthy tones, from the greens to the hints of grey. Observing the collection, it reminded me a lot of the Scandinavian style – Clean cut, smart, and elegant.

Champagne flowing, there was not an empty glass insight and the refreshments given were light and delectable. After all the awing at the collection, we were then finally seated for the panel discussion. On the panel were Sheila McKain-Waid the creative director of Jaeger Womenswear, Pandora Sykes from The Sunday Times Style and hosting the panel was Tiffanie Darke the creative content director of The Sunday Times Style. All the ladies did great and gave really good points, discussing best choices of footwear, must have coat collection, A/W colours to incorporate into your wardrobe and so on.

Although the men were dominated at the event by women. It did not stop the panel from bringing up the menswear trends also and what we would like to see men wear this season.
“We would love to see more men in suits”.
Was the topic of discussion and I so agree with this. A man in a suit is everything.
Followed by a Q and A, we could ask any fashion related questions. It was such a lovely event I must say!

Thank you Jaeger :)

The longline blazer coat was my absolute favourite from the collection. I could shed a tear on how beautiful this coat looked in person ;)
